The recent Open Door event at the Lambourn Almshouses was a tremendous success, attracting a large number of visitors keen to see first-hand what almshouse accommodation looks like. Guests were given the opportunity to tour one of the newly refurbished homes, which showcased the high standard of care and attention to detail that goes into maintaining our historic properties.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported our fundraising efforts for the chapel development project. This ambitious initiative will result in the creation of nine new homes, providing much-needed affordable housing for those in need in our community.
